Our Manner of the Week: "Don't eat food off others' plates" focuses on an important aspect of table etiquette.
Learning to respect others' space and belongings at the table helps children develop self-control, courtesy, and consideration for those around them. Growing in these virtues is an important part of developing good character, and our pupils are working hard to establish these habits each day.

Still within Science, our pupils have also been carefully studying birds and fish, showing close attention to detail as they observe their chosen species and deepen their appreciation of the order and beauty within creation.
Our younger children have begun an art project focusing on the world of fish and linking to some recent learning we have done on these wonderful creatures.
The older children continued their studies in Science today with an introduction to amphibians. We looked particularly at the Great Crested Newt and also had a bonus look at adders. Although adders aren't Amphibians, they're certainly dangerous predators to the majority of amphibians in these Isles of Britain!
