French Tutor - Aberdeen City and Shire

French Tutor - Aberdeen City and Shire Teaching children, students and adults alike, since 2018. Your progress brings me joy! It was a case of learning French, or not communicating at all.

I speak from personal experience, when I say that the younger you start learning an additional language, the better. I was eleven when I participated in a six month long exchange with a French family, in Mayenne, Normandy. I attended French primary school and initially learned French totally immersively. I left with an authentic French accent, even people from France can't tell the difference! I studied French at the University of St. Andrews, with a year at Le Miraille University in Toulouse, graduating with a Masters in 2005. Whilst in Toulouse I tutored English as a Foreign Language to French employees of a British company, to help them thrive in their work environment. I have definitely had the teaching bug a long time! Once I started my family, I did face to face exam preparation for N5 and Higher French, plus teaching younger children, also people who worked for French oil companies and families looking to relocate to France. I adore working with children, seeing their enthusiasm when joining in the songs and learning new words.

This birthday girl enjoyed eating a freshly picked 'carrotte' πŸ₯• as part of our planting session today. Apparently she doesn't normally eat vegetables either!
The children also smelled a freshly picked 'ognion' πŸ§… and une 'pomme de terre', dug straight out of the ground, just like in the story about Tounette's Soup.

They even got a 'radis' seed 🫜to plant and take home with them!

What a fun session!
