Last night we spent our evening in the stunning gardens of Aberdeens botanical gardens - have you been? If not why not? This fantastic resource is open to the public and is a stunning array of colour, many hidden green nooks and even a few small ponds to explore.
A perfect place to go and feel rooted in nature, but also the perfect place to visit and show your children the magic and colour Aberdeen can offer.
Some of us went barefoot last night, with the garden to ourself we explored and squealed and giggled, allowing our selves to play and be able to freely enjoy ourselves. Relaxing with each breath the longer we stayed.
What a magical and most enjoyable experience, and I went home and had the best and deepest sleep I have had in ages. Nature truly heals.
An excellent night with Dawn Ewan and taking time to nurture our selves this evening. Dancing in the rain, crafting, and exploring the stunning gardens. Meeting a duck and a deer.

If you are joining us tomorrow, dress for the weather. We are watching for high winds. As the gardens are closed if the wind picks up.

Nourishing Ourselves with Slow Pedagogy
In the fast-paced world of early years, we are the anchors for our little learners. But even anchors need time to rest. We invite you to step away from the classroom and the "to-do" lists for an evening dedicated to your own well-being and professional inspiration.
This isnβt your typical professional development workshop. There are no powerpoints hereβonly the rustle of leaves and the soft earth beneath your feet as we spend time together at Cruickshank Botanical Garden.
Check our bio for all the details.
Numbers are capped for this event, so get in fast.
