It is almost time...This Saturday at 7:30pm the Torcher Parade will be under way. Parade starts at Marischal College from 7:30pm and follows the usual route. Maybe see you there.

The Torcher Parade is one of our largest and most historical events and signifies the end of our famous charities fortnight.
The Torcher Parade was established in 1889 and has been run by the Students’ Charities Campaign since it was formed in 1921
We are currently looking for volunteers for this year's torcher parade. If you are interested in stewarding, collecting and/or being a torch bearer in this year's world record attempt then contact Sandy McKinnon, President for Charities [email protected].

Last year's Torcher Parade
The Torcher Parade is one of our largest and most historical events and signifies the end of our famous charities fortnight. It brings together over 2000 students from Aberdeen Collage, RGU and Aberdeen University in fancy dress and with over 50 decorated floats. This year we are also hoping to gain the title of Guinness World Record holder for the biggest Student Torcher Parade.
