Toddlers Group will be running on THURSDAY mornings over the holiday period.
At our Open Play sessions in the holidays, we will have toys out for toddlers, and if the hall is free at other periods we can take the toys out, please come in and ask staff. 😊

We will be closing our Toddlers page and advertising the group on the Community Centre page Kingswells Community Centre

We are looking for a volunteer to help out with our Toddlers Group on a Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Kingswells Toddlers Group is a fun place for children from baby to pre-school age to come and play, and a safe place for parents and carers to socialise and play with their children.

Through the Centre, the children have access to a range of indoor equipment from climbing and slide structures to soft play and everyday toys, we are also in the process of setting up and outdoor area for the children to play.

The group is usually set up and tidied by parents, but we are looking for volunteers to come in to the Centre on a Tuesday and Thursday morning from 9am-11.30am and set out all the toys, engage with the children and parents and organise a few small activities with the children like messy play, story telling or basic crafts, then tidy up again at the end of the group.

This would be a great opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about working with smaller children and is sociable with adults.

The Community Centre would provide a PVG check and Introduction to Child Protection course.

Lots of fun doing messy play at Toddlers Group yesterday!

Come along on a Tuesday and Thursday morning to take part.

Toddle with us on a sponsored walk on 13th June to raise money for outdoor play equipment.

Outdoor play and learning is important at all stages of a child's development. The Community Centre is working to improve the outdoor area at the side of the Centre and the Toddler Group would like to expand their play area to the outdoors.

We are raising money for a mud kitchen, water wall, a sand pit and more. Please toddle with your toddler at the school playground on the 13th of June to help us out.
