Don't leave renewing your food hygiene certificate until the last minute β° It is recommended that anyone with a food preparation role should complete refresher food hygiene training every 3 years. We have one-day courses running at both Aberdeen and Fraserburgh Campuses over the next few months. Our next course will run on Thursday 20th February 2025 at Aberdeen City Campus. All NESCol campuses will be closed on Friday due to the Met Office amber warning. Learning will move online and students should check MyNESCol for information specific to their course. Are you interested in a career in early learning and childcare? Why not make 2025 the year you start that journey. We have a short course starting on Monday 6th January 2025 which is ideal for anyone just starting out. Play in Early Learning and Childcare (SCQF Level 4) covers both practical and theory based topics such as planning play experiences for children 0-12 years. Looking at the benefits of play for children 0-12 years. The course also runs during family friendly hours 10.00am - 2.00pm. The course may be free if you are in receipt of certain state benefits.
