💦 Children have been very busy in Dosbarth Coch over the last few days exploring and measuring water. The children have been measuring using a range containers. Children are developing key vocabulary such has empty, full, half full, nearly full, nearly empty.

🌟 Year 2 children have carefully measured in ml and enjoyed comparing amount and taking about what they noticed as they filled and emptied their containers

Celebrating UNICEF International Day of Play the right way! Here are some of the fun things we did at the 4 stations! We had so much fun, including the staff 🤩 💦

Our ‘Farm’ themed playgroup last week was lots of fun. And this we made some Father’s Day cards with some finger painting.

Dosbarth Glas have given their pens a break in literacy this week! We learnt about how different states of matter act for our science explanation genre! We acted out how a solid, liquid or a gas would move in a space. We also discussed what would happen if the solid turned into a liquid, or a liquid turned into a gas. We had so much fun! Da iawn! 🥼🧪✨

We had such a wonderful time this week at our Little Blessing Playgroup. This weeks theme was the Hungry Caterpillar.

The children got to listen to the Hungry Caterpillar story and the fruit kebabs were delicious 😋
