Lock Is Not A Joke Camp est un summer Dance Camp 100% dédié au Locking ! Organisé par Julia Ortola, aka Funky J, et l'association Women Active depuis 2015, date de la première édition, ce camp est unique en son genre ! Il regroupe entrainements intensifs, partage de connaissances à travers des conférences, mais aussi des moments de détente avec des soirées, les afters et les a

ctivités que propose le lieu du camp : en pleine nature, au milieu de la forêt. Retrouvez piscine, jacuzzi, sauna, quad...

Le Camp est ouvert à tous les niveaux ! Apprentissage ou perfectionnement, ce camp s'adapte et est approprié à chacun. Et pour clôturer la semaine, un battle de Locking International ! Rejoignez-nous !!

The "LOCK IS NOT A JOKE" summer camp being held in France is a Summer Dance Camp dedicated 100% to the style, artform, and culture of the dance style Locking! It's the first Locking Camp in France and a unique camp that is filled with not only intensive training and learning all kinds of knowledge, but also having fun and partying together. We'll culminate all the workshops and festivities with one last International Locking Battle at the end of the camp!

In 2015, came to for the 1st time

During the camp, he learnt and danced with .lock_the_thunder

A few years later, they won Juste Debout together.

It was also at the camp that Yankee met , who gave him the nickname Captain Funk.

And here’s the beautiful full-circle moment…

The day Yankee won Juste Debout, Anthony Thomas was one of the judges. 😍

Maybe there are no coincidences after all.

Stories like this have happened over and over again at Linaj

Students who became teachers.
Young dancers who became world champions.
Friendships that crossed continents.
Crews and teams got created.
Couples who met here.
Marriages.
Children.
One big family.

When we created this camp in 2015, our dream was simply to bring people together through Locking and funk culture.

11 years later, we realize we’ve witnessed an entire generation grow.

That is probably our greatest achievement.

This year will most likely be the last edition in this format, so over the next few weeks we’ll be sharing some of the memories that made this adventure so special.
