🗣️ Making mistakes is not a sign that your French is bad. It's a sign that you're actually using it.
One of the things I often tell my students is to not be afraid of making mistakes
Because when you're speaking, you can't always stop and think about every grammar rule or search for the perfect word.
You have to try.
You have to make mistakes.
And then you learn from them.
And here's something I love about learning in a small group:
👉 You don't only learn from your own mistakes.
You also learn from the mistakes other people make.
Maybe someone uses an expression you've never heard before.
Maybe they make a grammar mistake that you realise you make too.
Maybe they ask a question you hadn't thought about.
Suddenly, you're learning without even realising it.
That's why I don't want my students to be afraid of making mistakes in my classes.
Mistakes are part of the conversation. They're part of the learning process.
The goal isn't to speak perfect French.
The goal is to keep speaking, keep improving, and become more confident every time you do it.
💬 What's a French mistake you've made that you never forgot?

🗣️ Learning French doesn't have to feel lonely.

One of the biggest reasons learners stop making progress isn't grammar...

It's the lack of opportunities to actually speak.

That's why my classes are different.

Every week, you'll join a small group of just 3 to 4 learners, where everyone has plenty of time to speak, ask questions and learn from each other.

✨ No pressure.
✨ No fear of making mistakes.
✨ Just real conversations, practical vocabulary and personalised feedback in a friendly atmosphere.

Over the past five years, I've helped more than 100 adult learners become more confident speaking French and I'd love to help you too.

If you're ready to stop just studying French and start using it, I'd love to welcome you to one of my conversation groups.

💬 Send me a message to find the group that matches your level. 🇫🇷

🇫🇷 Here's one mistake that slows down almost every French learner...

Trying to create the "perfect" sentence before speaking.

Native speakers don't think about grammar rules while they're talking.
They communicate.

The more you wait to be perfect, the less you practise.

My advice?

✔ Speak with the vocabulary you already know.
✔ Don't be afraid of making mistakes.
✔ Focus on communication, not perfection.

Confidence doesn't come before speaking but from speaking.

That's why my conversation classes are limited to just 4 students.

Everyone has plenty of time to speak, receive personalised feedback and improve week after week.

If you're ready to become a more confident French speaker, send me a message and I'll help you find the right group.

✨ "I knew the grammar... but I still couldn't speak French."

One of my students came to me with a problem that many learners experience.

He had a solid knowledge of French grammar.
He knew plenty of vocabulary.
He understood almost everything.

But whenever he had the choice, he spoke English.

Not because he couldn't speak French...
Because it felt easier.
Because he was afraid of making mistakes.

So instead of focusing on learning more grammar, we focused on something much more valuable:

💬 Speaking regularly.

Week after week, he practised in a supportive environment where mistakes weren't something to avoid : they were part of the learning process.

A few months later, everything had changed.

He no longer switched to English automatically.
He spoke French with much more confidence.
Most importantly, he stopped being afraid of making mistakes.

Because you don't become confident and then start speaking. You become confident by speaking and by allowing yourself to make mistakes.

That's the philosophy behind my small-group conversation classes.

If you're ready to stop overthinking and start speaking French with confidence, I'd love to help.

🗣️ You probably understand more French than you think… so why is speaking still so difficult?

One thing I've noticed after teaching French for over five years is that most learners don't struggle because they don't know enough French.

They struggle because they don't get enough opportunities to use it.

Many students tell me:
"I understand, but when it's my turn to speak I can't think of the words."

That's completely normal.

Speaking is a skill that improves with regular practice, in a supportive environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes.

That's exactly why I created my small-group conversation classes (maximum 4 students).

Imagine being able to join conversations naturally, find your words more easily and finally enjoy speaking French instead of worrying about making mistakes.

✨ Want to give it a try?

I'm currently opening new conversation groups for different levels.
