Parc Astérix IBDP1 Class 2024🎉
The IB DP1 class was thrilled to embark on their end-of-year trip to Parc Astérix, a theme park located just outside of Paris. Wandering through the park, they were transported to ancient Gaul and joined the iconic characters of the Astérix comic book series. The class rode the thrilling rollercoasters, including the Tonnerre de Zeus, the largest wooden rollercoaster in Europe. And there is a new one at the parc, which is the tallest and fastest one in France, Toutatis! 🤪
The trip was an opportunity for the international students to learn about French culture through the fun lens of this beloved comic book series. They were able to see firsthand the impact that Astérix has had on French popular culture and gain a deeper understanding of the country's history and traditions. Overall, any trip to Parc Astérix was a fun and educational way to end the academic year and create lasting memories.
