What a Luxury - The prestigious leather good maison Joseph Duclos agreed to receive my students during fashion week to meet their craftspeople and even try the saddle stitch. I can see why Taylor Swift, Carla Bruni and Brigitte Macron are big fans. Unlike Hermès, you don't have a huge hierarchy to go through to get your €55,000 crocodile handbag. You just have to know that Joseph Duclos exists :) ...but keep it a secret :)

While Gucci's sales are still falling, green shoots are starting to emerge as a new executive and creative team start to manage the brand for long-term growth.

In total, it's three days, thirty exhibitors and many inspiring meetings, with a generous sharing of experience. Organised by the Comité Colbert, this show allows many Houses (CHANEL, le19M, Christian Dior Couture, Cartier, Hermès) to pass on their expertise through design and creation workshops, explaining the different possible trades. 🤩

I was able to discover the existence of some unknown trades in this exciting industry that is fashion. To all the curious, who wish to learn more (and be better informed), this is the appointment not to be missed. ✨

With my friend Calista RAYBIER, we tried our hand at leather goods at Chanel, creating a precious leather lining and weaved our own chain of the iconic Chanel Timeless 👜
