Change the World Academy is proud to operate with Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

This status makes us a tangible and globally recognised stakeholder, capable of bringing the voices of the youth and the values of education directly to the places where the future of the planet is decided.

Today, on the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia, we reflect on one of the greatest responsibilities we have as educators: ensuring that our young people grow up in a world free from fear. On May 17, 1990, the World Health Organization’s General Assembly determined that homosexuality was not a disease, removing it from the list of mental disorders.

As the United Nations constantly reminds us, human rights are universal. No one should ever face discrimination or violence because of who they are or who they love.

At Associazione Diplomatici, we work every day to create safe, international spaces for dialogue. In our classrooms and during simulations, we promote the values of respect, inclusion, and empathy. Because only a young person who feels welcomed and respected is a young person who can realize their full potential and contribute to a more just society.

Educating students to respect all forms of diversity is the first, fundamental step toward building peace.

Today, we invite you to reflect on our collective responsibility toward our planet.
All it takes is putting three simple actions into practice:
1) Learn about environmental issues;
2) Participate in local cleanup and tree-planting initiatives;
3) Choose sustainable products to reduce our environmental impact.

The latest edition of CWMUN Singapore 2026 kicked off yesterday with an opening ceremony featuring remarks by Dante Brandi, Italian Ambassador to Singapore; Serge Telle, former Prime Minister of the Principality of Monaco and member of the CWA Advisory Board; and Claudio Corbino, who joined via video link.

A start that once again marks the beginning of a new journey of dialogue, exchange, and international growth.

The Closing Ceremony marks the end of four intense days of work, dialogue, and growth.
A moment that brings together emotion and awareness: for those experiencing it for the first time and for those who return for everything it represents.
Through achievements, new friendships, and discussions on global issues in an international setting, CWMUN proves to be a truly unique experience.
