As Winter approaches us here in Aus, I am preparing to spread the wings of my most recent baby!!!

This yoga program is for any woman who has been on a learning journey with her cycle or who wants to start one.

It is for any woman who wishes to connect to her body intelligence, her feminine root place and explore her somatic, psychic and energetic landscapes.

It is for any woman who is courageous and curious enough to turn powerfully towards the being within.

It is for any woman who wishes to connect with other women, share in the the collective wisdom of story-telling and story-hearing and invest in her relationship to herself for life.

There are still places available for women to join the Katoomba program, at an absolutely beautiful studio called 'The Inner Space.' If you're super keen but live mid-mountains, message me anyway - we may be able to squeeze you into the Hazo group ;) And if you can't make all the sessions or if money is an issue, don't worry!
We can work something out.

This last month of December has been a huge chapter for me... Returning to Aus after a year of living and working overseas after so many lockdowns, isolations, hard decisions, plane flights and trains, distance, administration, language learning, zoom calls, new experiences, ego-deaths, new growth and friendships .... the humbling and inner-growth I feel could fill books!

But for now, it must be honoured with a big breath out and a grateful heart ❣ To be with family after so long is so deeply nourishing and to have various and vital corners of my life under roof is a gift 💝

Last Saturday Paul and I held a quiz night for our friends at our going away party. Its a strength of his to great quizzes, escape games and projects for groups of people and I love facilitating intentional spaces to bring people together.

This year we put our differences - which are also our super powers - together, to create something new and awesome.

Paul took care of the general knowledge, team management and charismatic presentation. I added a yoga-pose challenge and played the guitar during the blind test where we both sang. The xenith of our collaboration was a challenge called « Qui comprend Gigi » (Who understands Gigi?) where our friends had to guess the word I was trying to describe in my somewhat limited French - a chance for me to use my unique condition of non-fluency, to create descriptions a bit outside the box, making the guessing game all the more fun and challenging!

And yes, I appeared as a kangaroo - the kind that delivers shots of alcohol when people lost a point 😉

The game lasted 4 hours with many different chapters, twists and turns 😅 It was an awesome part of the party and also an example of how we can all create unity, fun, learning and celebration through valuing everyone’s unique skills and differences 🌈🤗👣🦘

Ps - I don’t post the yoga photos just to preserve privacy but the quiz yogis did an epic job! 😉 👯‍♂️👯‍♂️👯‍♂️

Almost four years ago I had a role within , transcribing the creator coaching skills program. I spent hours listening and writing everything that the facilitators and students said, committing so much to memory, letting the repetition of content facilitate a deep study and meditation.

During this time, I wrote the name of a course participant « Jen » over and over again and transcribed the words of a woman I’d never met or seen but whom I came to know intimately through her voice and her active engagement in the program.

Around one year later, I met this glorious being in person in Pai, Thailand.
As long as I’ve known her she has been an example of pro-active and embodied love, creative self expression, liberation and visionary contribution.

Shortly after we met, she suggested that I do an episode on the podcast project that she had at that time. Life took its course and it didn’t happen inside of that project, but this year it found its manifestation in her current podcast, « Waking Up. »
A perfect title to introduce the radiance of Jen and her work 🙏

In this episode we talk about consciousness, personal practice and all things « spiritual journey. » A topic that rings so true to our friendship and to how we strive to contribute to the evolution of humanity in these times of great transition.

This picture encapsulates a beautiful chapter in my story that has recently come to a close.
In this incredible chapter I:

🍒 Lived and worked in Paris, France, doing a job that I absolutely loved 🦋

🍒 Spoke decent and sometimes even impressive French everyday to clients and colleagues 😅

🍒 Learned and facilitated fabulous massage and wellbeing treatments to my clients ⭕️

🍒 Met an incredible group of people who will forever be part of my pantheon of mentors and friends, bonded by the powerful and alchemical container of WORK 🙏

My heart is so full and nourished by everything I have learned and everyone I have met in this beautiful chapter 💜

This chapter has closed for now but it is certainly not goodbye. I carry all of it’s blessings in my heart, into the next new pages of the adventure, until we meet again! ⭕️👣🌍

The pic is from my little going away soirée where we gave ourselves Certificates of Achievement, for something we were proud of ourselves for this year. Then we signed them for eachother to make it feel even more official 😉

I was delighted to get an update this week that the trees bought last year from my book project ‘Moments of Mystic’ are currently being planted!!!
🌈 🌳 ☀️

It was 10% of each sale that went towards these trees and it excites me to imagine the possibilities of future projects which can lead towards more tree-lives being born 🙏

So this last super moon in Aquarius kind of blew me out of the water 🌕
A powerful combination of elements were at play, like being on my period, training all day every day in a very energetic treatment using the principles of reiki, practicing a lot of yoga and I happen to be an Aquarius if that makes a difference!

After a week of several downloads of insight getting through in various ways, the climax was when I had a profound energetic experience during a meditation.
(It feels important to note that I’d had a huge amount of energy express itself as tears earlier that day - unblocking me and emptying me out for the experience to come).

I was in contemplation and deep inner journeying. Suddenly, after hitting a level of deep concentration, my hands spontaneously floated up to my solar plexus and heart space and it felt as if they were not my hands, that it was not me moving them but some other force working through them - they felt charged by this force and transmitted it by hovering over these energy centres.

It filled them, warming them up, loosening them and feeding them, encouraging flow and communication between the two. The short version of the message that came was this:

The frequency of FREEDOM can be experienced when energy between the solar plexus (the center of personal power) and the heart (unconditional love) flows. In other words, our experience of FREEDOM can be deeply related to our love for Self.
Or, if this explanation is more relatable, our experience of freedom will be contorted and limited by a shortage of self-love.

I’ll let your own experience of life connect the dots 💜

It took some time to come back to my body and ground afterwards and there is generally some anxiety inside that process for me, but eventually I settled. The first phase of integration felt complete when I awoke the next morning after a dream of magical, morphing, continuous corridors.

May this story have a positive ripple somewhere in the sea of energy. We can only give the love we have within us so may you be filled to the brim and overflow with it ###

Time to reflect on where I am...and sew what I see into words ⭕️

🦋 Revising my studies in Anatomy
(And experiencing it all make sense with ease and years of lived experience to apply it to)

🦋 Having tastes of life without the moulds of certain control and defence patterns
(And connecting to who I am and what qualities of being arise without them)

🦋 Experiencing the liberation and spaciousness of interpreting life from a nervous system in the green, safe and secure zone
(And allowing myself to do what gently helps me maintain that space and being forgiving when I slip out sometimes)

🦋 Noticing the deepest, subtlest, quietest, most invisible inner changes having the most significant impact on my life
(And laying down the foundations for a new personal modus operandi, piece by piece)

🦋 Accepting the slow and humble pace of long term goals
(And feeling nourished by the transformative process of becoming a being that can hold and sustain those dreamt realities)

I found a way to combine 4 of my passions - Learning 👩‍🏫, Massage & Healing 💆🏻‍♀️ , foreign language acquisition 🇫🇷 and my morning coffee ☕️😎

Ps - For anyone trying or interested to learn another language, I find that copying a book word for word and looking up and writing down the new vocabulary as I go really helps the grammar etc to stick in my mind 🐣

Like the spirit needs a body, words and their structure helps us give form to our expression 🌈🌄

Just like behavioural response or any practical task in life, one of the main ways we learn is by being modelled an example and then re-enacting it. And when that re-enactment is repeated we create a habit we can reproduce easily, without having to think too much.

In behaviour this can be troublesome but in language acquisition it generally just helps us speak more effectively and feel more natural in our own skin 😅

I recently came up with a tool that helps me a lot a lot with re-wiring myself towards a positive mindset, regulating and strengthening my nervous system and opening my heart during interpersonal conflict.

I call this process my « GOSPAL’s » and it helps me attune to better and brighter things and approach situations with an open heart. To be used daily as a practice and/or as a tool during challenging moments:

G - Gratitude: What can I be grateful for, in the situation, in general or in the specific relationship?

O - Opportunity: What could my opportunity be here?

S - Select: Select something that IS working well, in my life, in general or in the specific relationship.

P - Possibility: What’s possible??!? Inside this situation/relationship or in relation to it?

A - Attune: What is the energy/frequency/mood or mindset that I’d like to attune to instead?

L - Love: What would love say or do in this moment to support the flow of love and wellness?

Call it corny 🌽 but it’s really saved me in moments of personal and interpersonal contraction several times this week! I hope it can be useful for you too x

The Importance of Being With Pain... a poem
⭕️

There’s no need to condemn your pain...To be scared by it...Even to understand it

The more you allow yourself to be with it...To breathe with it...To be and breathe FOR it

And to un-blend it from the thoughts that keep it locked

The more you allow it to be there
And to be loved none the less

The more it will melt and soften

Away from contraction and coldness

Towards pleasure and warmth within the body

An egg cracked into the daylight

Revealing the life-force within

Oozing and spilling towards the cracks,
It was always destined to fill-in

The wealth beneath the numbness

Energy has moved

The heart finds its breath

The nervous system re-sets

To follow this process is self-intimacy...the deepest of self-care

And a mark of collective-understanding that leads to compassionate adulthood

We are a map of energy that both moves and gets stuck

And to allow it to flow is to open to LOVE

Yesterday I held my first self-organised, surprise « circle » between a group of friends, with the intention of honouring and loving up an individual in the group ⭕️

Last year I read the book « The Circle Way » which explains the beautiful process of holding « A Circle » and this year I went through a 5 week program to become more intimate with the components and nuances of the process, before to host.

At first I felt a bit awkward to propose an intentional form of gathering like this, particularly as it wasn’t something that was already in the habit or life experience of the community that I was wishing to gather.

Yet, the invitation to shine love upon another was taken up with will and openness and for a first time circle - for me and for the participants - I know it planted a beautiful seed - of a shared, novel and meaningful experience 🥰⭕️👣

🥂 Santé - To many more collective opportunities to shine love onto one another and to the mutual exchange of beautiful practices and wisdom wherever we go 🌞
