When to stop, and when to keep going
Two artists, two answers to the same question. Both from music feedback on Echio.
Fantastic Twins says the urge to speed things up or add another element is usually ear fatigue talking, not a problem with the track. Luigi Tozzi says a good loop is not enough, and the producers who go deepest are the ones who refuse to stop at okay.
Both are right. The skill is knowing which one you are dealing with.

A deep dive into the creative process, tips & tricks of one of the best deep house music producers.

In Fort Romeau own words :
« Join me in a session writing a track from scratch in Ableton! I’m breaking down my process and try and include as many useful tips and tricks as possible. we will cover all aspects of the music making process including :

* how to come up with ideas!
* how to work with samples effectively and creatively
* building drum tracks, writing drum parts - conceptualising how the drums and other elements work together in time and pitch (a key idea in all dance music, often overlooked!)
* how to arrange a track - the big stumbling block for a lot of people!
* different approaches to arrangement, key concepts and ideas
* mixing a track - how mixing, sound selection and arrangement are related and why its important

While my track is focused towards deep, minimalish/techy house, most techniques and ideas are applicable across all music, particularly programmed electronic music even if you prefer a different genre. »
