Hannah and I are tapered (and maybe a little antsy) and ready to race here at Parapan American Games!! It’s been such a cool experience getting to be here in the village meeting athletes from all over, trading pins and contact info. That being said, we can’t wait to actually RACE!! Estamos listos!!

All our events will be streamed live on panamsportschannel.org, which is free after entering your email!

We will be racing…

🇺🇸Thursday 11/23
2pm: 3km Pursuit Qualifier
6pm(ish): 3km Pursuit Final (if we qualify!)

🇺🇸Friday 11/24
5:20pm(ish): 1km TT Final

🇺🇸Sunday 11/26
8:00am: Road race!! (😳)

Congratulations to everyone for a smashing 2022 season! We had too many podiums to count, and so many lessons learned in racing. Lots of firsts for many of our athletes and lots of athletes staying consistent in their hard work that paid off in so many ways.

Most of our athletes have already set big goals for 2023 and we can’t wait to support them by doing all the little things right, giving our best effort, and getting a little bit stronger every day. We know the little gains are what add up to big improvements, and we can’t wait for what’s to come.

For now, cheers to all of our athletes, thank you to our coaches and everyone who supports us! 🍾🥳

THANK YOU!

Our last post about worlds for a while, but we have some folks behind the scenes to acknowledge! When they say it takes a village… it really does! The work of putting on an event like worlds, and supporting all the athletes, is done by some incredible, hardworking individuals and we wouldn’t have been able to race without them!

Thank you to our whole staff who pulled 14-16 hour days to make sure our riders were fed and on time, and their bikes were race ready. Thank you to the team and volunteers at the Velodrome St-Quentin-en-Yvelines for hosting, thank you to the RSS timing team and to all of the race officials for ensuring fair and safe racing.

Thank you to everyone who worked so tirelessly to support our athletes and team USA! You are so appreciated!

DAY 4

Worlds ended with a bang! Aaron completed his silver trifecta with a silver medal in the MC1 Omnium. Congrats, Aaron!!

MK and Hannah took on the tandem sprint tournament, and qualified 6th with a super speedy 11.753 200m! They made it all the way to the quarter finals before being knocked out by a super strong Belgian team who eventually were the silver medallists. Incredible riding from MK and Hannah all weekend! We're so proud of them.

Aaron, Chris and Justin teamed up to take on the mixed C1-C5 team sprint, and finished with a strong 6th overall with a 51.997 750m, less than 3 seconds off first!

We're so proud of all of our athletes and the whole USA squad! Also thank you so much to all of the staff who supported these athletes the whole weekend and made it possible for them to bring their best.
