A little recap on uncountable nouns 🍎

Uncountable nouns in English are things that we cannot count with numbers. ⁣
⁣
For example, in English we cannot say ‘Can you give me an advice?’ ⁣
⁣
If you want to count them, you can use ‘piece/s of’. For example: ‘Can you give me a piece of advice?’ However, in general, we usually use the word ‘some’.⁣

What have you done recently? ⏰

We use the present perfect for recently completed actions or actions in the past that have some connection to now.

We can also emphasise a recent action with the word ‘just’.

How often do you speak English? 🙊⁣⁣

We use adverbs of frequency to describe how often something happens.⁣⁣

They usually go before the main verb, or between the auxiliary and the main verb:⁣⁣
I always watch television after work. 📺⁣⁣
He had never seen her before. 🧐
⁣⁣
Or they come after the verb ‘to be’:⁣⁣
I am hardly ever hungry in the morning. 🕚⁣⁣
