I am all for personal development

Let me explain.

I am absolutely for:
self-awareness
healing
understanding your patterns
taking responsibility for your choices
getting out of your own way
identifying and advocating for your wants and needs

I’ve built my life’s work around that.

But I’m not for the version of “personal development” that whispers:

You are not enough yet
Optimize more
Fix more
Manifest better
Upgrade yourself into worthiness

That version keeps people in quiet self-surveillance; always improving; rarely arriving, and most definitely not happy.

The reframe I offer as a coach is this:

Personal development is not about becoming more impressive. It’s about becoming more *honest.*

Not performing growth but unearthing and integrating truth.

Not building a better mask, but removing the one that exhausts you.

Feel the difference?

Growth shouldn’t feel like punishment for being human.

If it leaves you feeling chronically behind, inadequate, tense…that’s not development. That’s conditioning with a prettier name.

Last year, P joined a 4-part webinar series I hosted for women in the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO), focused on activating leadership potential and getting more ladies in positions of influence in the sector. It's been a while, so here's a little update:

I'm currently doing a full social media and online media audit.

This process has been challenging, humbling, and also overwhelming. While I feel there is much I have done in the past 10 years of my career, and have enjoyed sharing much of it, I also feel the need to let go of certain aspects of my work, and lean into others.

I'll also be letting go of certain online platforms (X) and deleting certain things online that don't feel like they represent what I want to create next.

I hope you'll stick around for the next chapter. But, even if you don't, I'm so grateful to have had you all here for this one
