October will have been a tough month for many as it is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month. 🤍
Our journey to have Kaleb was a 4 year one and we had what was termed 'unexplained infertility'.
During that time we had two miscarriages, two years apart which broke our hearts.
Words can't describe that feeling of loss. The grief we felt for those babies that we wouldn't ever get to meet. We had imagined what we would call them, who they would look like, how we would spend holidays and what Christmases would be like...
We had even been shopping and bought a bigger bed so there was room for all of us for Saturday morning snuggles.
And a car with a boot big enough for the buggy.
We may have only known them for weeks but we felt like we had lost a whole lifetime of love.
There were moments when my grief felt like it would overwhelm me. I had never felt pain like it.
To all of the M**s out there who have experienced the loss of a baby, I hold you in my heart and I send you all of my love.
To the m**s-in-waiting... I send you strength, love and prayers that you hold your baby in your arms soon.
You are loved.
