Wednesday the eclipse came to Céret!  While it wasn’t a total eclipse, it was pretty close, 98.2 %.

We got lucky and the sky was basically clear.  Here I am with a couple of friends taking it in.

For most of my life, I identified as the practical one.

The woman who made sensible decisions.
The woman who followed logic.
The woman who could always explain why.

Then I did something that made very little sense.

I followed my intuition to France.

It changed my life.

But here's what surprised me.

Even after I arrived, it took me a long time to reconcile who I'd always believed myself to be with this new way of moving through life. To trust the quiet voice that, over time, has guided me with far more ease than I ever imagined.

I finally made it to the beach this morning for a dip in the Mediterranean. 🌊

It's funny, it's only 30 minutes from home, but I hardly ever go. This morning, though, it was already 84°F (29°C) by 7:30 a.m., so a quick dip seemed like the perfect idea. And it was! Cool, refreshing, and a great way to start the day.

Sometimes the best things are right on our doorstep, and we forget to take advantage of them.

So, tell me... are you a beach person, or could you happily skip it altogether? 😊
