A milestone moment for The Hive Academy
Last night, we had the privilege of inaugurating our new school building — an important step in the journey of The Hive Academy.
We were honoured to celebrate this moment alongside our students, alumni, teachers, families, local businesses and friends of the school. Thank you to everyone who joined us—your presence meant a great deal, and each of you has played a role in bringing us to this point.
A sincere thank you to Jean-Pierre Dermit, Mayor of Ville de Biot, and to Jean-Pierre Mascarello, President of the Fondation Sophia Antipolis, for their warmth, support and encouragement and for being with us on this special occasion.
We are so proud to now be part of the Sophia Antipolis technopole—an environment where education, innovation, and enterprise come together. We are excited to develop meaningful connections that will benefit our students and strengthen the relationship between school, business, and the wider community. We see this as a truly thriving symbiotic ecosystem.
For us our new school building represents much more than a new space. It reflects years of belief, persistence, and collective effort—and above all, a community that has grown together and continues to move forward with purpose.
At The Hive Academy, our motto guides everything we do:
Respect for every voice. Responsibility for every action. This community builds the future.
And now, the work continues!
We look forward to building deeper partnerships across Sophia Antipolis—creating opportunities for our students to connect with the world beyond the classroom, and ensuring that education remains closely aligned with the future they are stepping into.
