Stop the Nibbling! 🌿🚫
Are aphids and caterpillars treating your garden like an all-you-can-eat buffet? Put a stop to it with this simple, DIY "Triple Threat" Pest Spray! 🧄🌶️🧼
The Recipe:
Blend 1 garlic bulb, 1 onion, and 1 tbsp cayenne pepper with 1 quart of water.
Let it "marinate" for 24 hours, then strain out the solids.
Stir in 1 tbsp liquid Castille soap and pour into a spray bottle.
Why it works:
Garlic & Onion: These are nature’s "keep away" signs. The strong sulfur compounds act as a biological repellent.
Cayenne Pepper: Adds a physical heat deterrent that makes leaves taste terrible to munching bugs.
Liquid Soap: Helps the mixture stick to the leaves and breaks down the outer shells of soft-bodied pests like mites and whiteflies.
Pro-Tip: Spray at dusk to avoid leaf scorch, and always do a patch test on one leaf first! 🌅
