For the past few months, I have been observing how riders are using their motorcycles on our roads, and honestly, there is a lot that needs to change.

I have witnessed numerous accidents caused by excessive speeding, failure to follow traffic rules, riding on bad roads without caution, and some riders operating without proper licences.

To all business owners who give motorcycles to riders, especially those in the passenger transportation business, please ensure that the people riding your motorcycles are properly trained, licensed and understand road safety.

To every rider, remember: the road is not a racing track. You are not the only one using it. Your passenger, pedestrians and other road users also deserve to reach their destinations safely.

The attached picture shows one of the riders who was also involved in a road accident. Let this be a reminder that one moment of reckless riding can change a life forever.

Slow down. Follow traffic rules. Wear your helmet. Avoid unnecessary risks. Ride responsibly.
