As many of you know, I am deeply passionate about advocating for seafarers' rights. Sitting down with Ryan Melogy for this interview was truly a dream come true.

This is an exclusive interview—the first time Ryan has publicly shared his personal story in such depth. As a former seafarer, survivor of harassment and abuse at sea, and now a maritime lawyer, Ryan speaks candidly about his experiences, the personal cost of speaking up, and how he has gone on to hold perpetrators accountable in a system that too often protects them instead of seafarers.

Through his groundbreaking legal work, Ryan is helping shape the future of maritime law. Because there was little to no legal precedent for many of these cases, he has been forging a path that not only advances justice for his own clients but also creates a legal framework that other maritime lawyers can build upon in the future.

I invite you to watch Part One of this powerful three-part series. I hope you'll take the time to listen, reflect, and share this important conversation.

Behind the scenes of a conversation, not everyone is willing to have.

This is an exclusive for Uncensored on —
featuring Ryan Melogy in his first-ever in-person interview.

A maritime lawyer and advocate
who has helped bring forward stories that were buried, dismissed, or quietly handled; giving survivors a space to speak, uncensored.

But this isn’t just about exposing the truth.

It’s about what it actually takes to do it.

To speak up when it’s easier to stay quiet.

To challenge systems designed to protect power.

To hold people accountable — knowing the personal cost that can come with it.

This is the reality of whistleblowers.

Of those who refuse to play along.

The ones who go first — not because it’s safe, but because it’s necessary.

Call them disruptors.
Call them pioneers.
The ones who create a path where none existed.

Through his work, Ryan is helping push the maritime industry toward something it has resisted for far too long — real accountability.

Where those in power are no longer shielded.
Where perpetrators are held responsible.
And where safety at sea is no longer negotiable.

This 3-part series doesn’t soften the edges. It goes straight into the realities the industry has avoided.

Because change doesn’t come from comfort.

It comes from people willing to stand in the fire and make it impossible to ignore the truth.

From silence…
to something that shifts everything.

Stay tuned.
First episode coming June 2026!
