The Fiji National University congratulates Riya from Tavua for becoming the first student to enrol and receive an instant offer letter at the Tavua Roadshow.
Accompanied by her mother, Riya took an exciting step towards her future by enrolling in the College of Humanities, Education and Law, pursuing a Bachelor of Education (Primary).
Her love for teaching began at church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher. An experience that shaped her passion for guiding young minds.
We wish Riya every success as she begins her journey towards a rewarding career in education.

Congratulations to Peni on enrolling at Fiji National University in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical, Telecommunications and Networking at the College of Engineering, Technical and Vocational Education and Training.

“Ever since I was a child, I loved taking things apart to see how they worked,” Peni shares. “Electronics fascinated me, and I knew I wanted a career where I could build, solve problems, and make a real difference.”

Making the decision to move away from home to pursue his studies was not easy. “It took courage to leave home and start this journey, but enrolling at Fiji National University has given me the confidence and skills to follow my passion,” he says.

Peni’s story is a powerful reminder that dreams are built one step at a time, and with the right guidance and training, curiosity can be transformed into a rewarding career.
