The Final Ambassador ..... But Not The Final Chapter !

Today 31st July on Christmas Island we celebrated a milestone on the journey of the 10,000 Toes Campaign.

The final group of 20 Ambassadors graduated with Pedro receiving the final Ambassador badge marking the completion of our roll out across 10 Pacific Island countries ( Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Samoa, American Samoa, Kiribati, Niue, Nauru, Tuvalu and Kiritimati - Christmas Island ) since the campaign rollout began in 2020.

This is not the end ---It is a new beginning.

With more than 10,000 Ambassadors across the Pacific ( including Papua New Guinea ) our volunteer ambassadors remain the hands and feet of the campaign. They are serving the grass root people------- raising awareness, early detection of NCDs,promoting healthy lifestyles and preventative care in the communities.

The mission continues. More ambassadors will be trained. More lives will be reached and saved. Together we will be keeping hope, health and healing to the Pacific --- one community at a time.

A center for healing and hope

Today we celebrate the soft launch of the 10,000 Toes Wellness Centre right here in Namaka — a place where health meets hope.

From fresh therapeutic juices and smoothies at BITU Beverages, to our nourishing Food Farmacy Café this center is designed to support and strengthen healthier lifestyles in our community.

Under one roof, we now bring together prevention and care in one place — including our Lifestyle Centre (formerly Hope Clinic) offering medical and nurse consultations, lifestyle counselling, screenings, telemedicine access, blood tests, home visits, and dietitian services.

Our Wellness Kitchen will host hands-on plant-based cooking classes for locals and visitors. We also offer a Conference & Training Room for meetings, workshops, and community health events — creating a space where education, empowerment, and transformation can happen daily.

Grand Opening to the public will occur early March! See you there.

10,000 Toes Campaign supports Nauru Diabetes Week 2025

The 10,000 Toes Nauru Team — led by Formossa and supported by Prya, Jim, Julyn, and Nurse Sister Teatu — partnered with the Public Health Department to stage a health booth near the Nauru Airport.

Following a 6 km walk around the airport, participants including the Director of Public Health received health screenings. The event ran from 4:30 pm to 8 pm and also engaged members of the public.

This initiative forms part of Nauru’s Diabetic Week, with 10,000 Toes joining Public Health again for the closing day this Friday.
