Knowledge is a very powerful tool.
Life and death came from this one man's use of knowledge.
His invention has helped sustain the earth's growing population even after his death! Without his insight on ammonia production, we would not have fertilizer, the earth would not be yielding as much crops and we would starve to death.
But with the same knowledge on ammonia, he created TNT along with other poisonous gases which were used as weapons by the Germans in World War 1. Millions died.
Knowledge is powerful, not because you have it, but because you use it.
Knowledge can be used powerfully for both good and very bad purposes.
Knowledge is a tool. If you don't wield it, it lies dormant.
A plea for all man kind, please use it for good!

Why learning the "ABC" song doesn't necessarily help your children learn how to read.
English is (mostly) a phonetic language as we "sound out" majority of our words. The "ABC" song teaches your children letter names, not letter sounds.
Here is an awesome songs that has helped my students learn the letter sounds along with letter names.
Reading is made easier once they learn this.

Here’s a bit about our Science Program in Association with the Big History Project.
The average school covers a lot about Science. You most likely will learn all the apparatus in the lab, learn elements and laws of physics, learn about chemical reactions and equations and come across theories for life. Its fun!
Big History however is a growing, multi-disciplinary approach designed for anyone seeking answers to the big questions about the history of our Universe.
The Big History Project is a joint effort between teachers, scholars, scientists, and their supporters to bring a multi-disciplinary approach to knowledge to lifelong learners around the world.
It’s a great opportunity for growth in reading, writing and critical thinking skills as students are encouraged to analyze, question and critically think about the process taken to achieve what we know as Science today.
