Some of you may have already received this invite for the 4th of March. Please note that the birthday celebrations for Jumping Beans have been moved to Friday the 11th! We are looking forward to seeing you all then🥳

We spent the day in the forest on Monday. Some of us were in hammocks and others were in the tent. We organized some activities for the children, then after our lunch we had a nap whilst listening to the sounds of the forest. ......and the mosquitoes that decided to wake up on the same day😊

Looking at the wonders of spring on our walk through the forest today, and lying on our backs watching the trees sway in the wind😊

There is no end to children's creativity when given the time and resources to support it. Passenger plane complete with seats and windscreen.

Aahh...summer😊Fantastic learning opportunities in the sandbox. The children have been building dams, canals and reservoirs that flow down into lakes. They have been syphoning water from one bucket to another and transporting water across our yard in endless trips to the tap. Every day, something new to marvel at.

Forest visits, chemistry and physics this week. Our children are interested in letters, so what better way to support this than letter Lotto. Lots of activity running round looking for the letters in our names. Mixing and playing with gloop and an experiment with milk, detergent and food colouring😊 We finished our week with some physics...sink or float. Our older Bookworms, always constructing with Legos, we're testing to see if their crafts would float. You'll notice many of the crew...jumped in the water for a swim😅. Our younger scientists experimented with household objects, and we're amazed to see that an apple does float!!!!!

Registration is now open for the 2020-2021 preschool year. We are an accepted English Language Preschool provider in Ruutana, Kangasala and follow the local and national preschool curriculum.
