ነገር ግን ኬንያ ብር አትማ ዕዳዋን ከመክፈል ይልቅ አጠቃላይ አገራዊ ምርቷን ለማሳደግ እንደምትሠራ አሳወቀች።

በአንድ አገር ገበያ ላይ የሚሽከረከረው የገንዘብ መጠን ከአጠቃላይ አገራዊ ምርት ጋር እኩል መሆን እንዳለበት የምጣኔ ሃብት ሳይንስ ያስተምራል።

ልክ እንደ ኬንያ ሁሉ ከፍተኛ ዕዳ ያለባት ኢትዮጵያ ከጊዜ ጊዜ እየጨመረ የመጣውን የዋጋ ግሽበትን ለመግታት ብር ማተም አለባት የሚሉ ድምፆች መሰማት ጀምረዋል።

የዋጋ ግሽበት የአንዲት አገር የገንዘብ አቅርቦት ከምጣኔ ሃብታዊ ምርት በላይ በፍጥነት ሲያድግ የሚከሰት ነው።

በአንዳንድ አገራት ገበያው ላይ ያለው ገንዘብ ሲበዛ የዋጋ ግሽበት በመከሰት ፈንታ ‘ሃይፐርኢንፍሌሽን’ አሊያም ‘ዲፍሌሽን’ ይከሰታል።

‘ሃይፐርኢንፍሌሽን’ ማለት የዋጋ ግሽበቱ በጣም በፍጥነት ሲያድግና ከቁጥጥር ውጪ ሲሆን የሚከሰት የምጣኔ ሃብት ቀውስ ነው። ብዙውን ጊዜ ወርሃዊ የዋጋ ንረት መጠኑ ከ50 በመቶ በላይ ሲሆን ‘ሃይፐርኢንፍሌሽን’ ይባላል።

‘ዲፍሌሽን’ ደግሞ የምርት ዋጋ ቀስ በቀስ ሲቀንስ እና የገንዘብ የመግዛት አቅም ሲጨምር የሚከሰት ነው።

ለመሆኑ ኢትዮጵያ ተጨማሪ ብር ብታትም የዋጋ ግሽበቱ ይቀንሳል ወይስ ይብሳል? ተጨማሪ ገንዘብ ማተምስ መፍትሔ ይሆናል?
