Exploring Futures, Inspiring Possibilities!

Last week, our Summit Plus Campus hosted a University Fair, welcoming representatives from 23+ universities and colleges across the USA, Canada, UAE, Switzerland, and India.

We are glad to provide our students with opportunities to connect directly with university representatives, explore academic programmes, learn about admission requirements and scholarships, and discover the possibilities available to them.

At Flipper International School, we are committed to giving our students the exposure and guidance they need to make informed decisions as they choose the right career path and shape their future.

🌼 Melkam Addis Amet 2019! 🌼

Happy Ethiopian New Year 🇪🇹 to all our students, parents, staff, and friends. May the year ahead bring peace, happiness, prosperity, and success to all.

Flipper International School proudly celebrated Enkutatash (Ethiopian New Year) across all its campuses with joy, culture, and community spirit. As Ethiopia welcomes the year 2019 in its unique and rich cultural tradition, our students, teachers, and staff came together to mark the occasion through vibrant performances of Abebayehosh songs, poems, traditional dances, and cultural celebrations.

Dressed in beautiful traditional Ethiopian attire, our school community showcased the diversity and heritage that make Ethiopia so special. This New Year brings new opportunities, new achievements, and exciting developments for our school family.

Celebrating Culture, Diversity & Learning! ✨🌍

Our Stage 6 students at Summit enjoyed a colourful and meaningful Culture Project, proudly organized by the Amharic Department. Students shared cultural foods, traditions, and their understanding of what culture means to them.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn, share, appreciate, and celebrate the rich diversity of our cultures. ❤️

A special thank you to our dedicated stage 6 teachers, Mrs. Beliyou and Mr. Wogderes, with the coordination support of Mrs. Etsegenet Dejene and Mrs. Etsegenet Tesfaye, for making this experience so memorable.

Keep learning, sharing, and celebrating our cultures!

A Day of Compassion and Community ❤️

Today, our Flipper principals and Head of People & Culture had the privilege of joining an event organised by Mekedonia and touring their facilities.

We visited care centres supporting people living with mental health conditions, individuals with Down syndrome, and elderly members of our community, as well as their medical clinic and other facilities. The visit gave us a deeper appreciation of the compassion, care and dedication behind Mekedonia’s work.

At Flipper International School, we believe education goes beyond the classroom. Through our community outreach programmes, we are committed to supporting meaningful initiatives and making a positive difference in the communities we serve.

The event also featured a recognition ceremony honouring schools that contributed donations during the 2025/26 academic year.

We are grateful to Mekedonia for the opportunity to connect, learn and contribute. Together, we can make a difference.

Our PTA at the Flipper Mexico Campus brought some kitfo, buna, and gathering to celebrate the start of learning at Flipper! ☕️🍽️

Today, our wonderful PTA organized a special lunch and coffee gathering in honour of the new school year and as a thoughtful gesture of appreciation for our dedicated educators. 💙

It was a lovely opportunity for our school community to come together, share a meal, enjoy good conversations, and celebrate the start of another exciting academic journey.

Flipper International School sincerely thanks the PTA at our Mexico Campus for this wonderful gesture and for their continued support of our educators and school community.
