Starting off in a growing city, Ethiopia has so far proved to be a point of progress to many different cultures, societies and communities. Yet lack of career fairs for our newly graduates and job seekers is what we are missing. IMMEDIATE VACANCIES FOR 'RECEPTIONISTS':

Educational Qualifications:

Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management / in Business Administration / in Management.

Previous Working experience : 2 years & more.

Duties & Responsibilities:

o Greeting Visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face;
o Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail;
o Deliver excellent customer service, at all times;
o Answering telephone calls and passing on messages to the appropriate person; take and relay messages;
o Professional telephone manner at all times;
o Treat all information and knowledge gained in the workplace as confidential;
o Be prepared to work both individually and as a team member;
o Assist in keeping the Reception & main Office area clean and tidy, at all times;
o Be involved and contribute at team meetings
o Performing other work related tasks as assigned by the Management;

Essential Skills/ Competencies:

o Friendly & respectful personality;
o Needs to Multitask at all times;
o Attention to detail;
o Reliability;
o Personal integrity and respect for confidential information at all times;
o Good time management skills;
o High level of initiative and ability to work independently & part of team;
o Ability to work in a small team;
o Flexibility and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment;
o Has excellent administrational & customer service skills;
o Has the ability to follow instructions & advice from supervisors effectively;
o Must be able to help telephone queries at all times;
o Able to liaise with people of all ages at all levels;
o Answering and placing telephone calls, receiving, filing, sending faxes and electronic mail;
o Must also have excellent oral, verbal & written communication skills, in English & Amharic;
o Good IT knowledge and relevant software applications;
o Must be Internet competent.

Dear All Career Fair 2015 participants:

Please find our workshop schedule above and arrive at the event according to the presentations you would like to attend. We will be registering participants at the reception and please be informed that its “first come first served” as the conference halls can only accommodate 100 people each at a time. Please arrive an hour ahead of the schedule of the workshop you would like to attend to avoid missing the registration.
