The leadership of Warrap State Students' Union in Ethiopia would like to congratulate the former interm chairperson of Warrap State Students' Union and former chairperson of South Sudanese Students' Association in BDU, in person of Ammet L. Mabil .

This is a major attraction for resilience, determination, hardworking and confidence in self-thriving. Without the above mentioned, this journey could have not been actively achieved. You are a such person who would want to see the finishing line is achieved.

It's time to thanks God for his accordingly guidance to us throughout 2024, the year was full of endless temptations but through his power, we shall all see new year, 2025. As nearly stepping in to 2025 the new year, please find a space in your heart to forgive friends, family, colleagues and whoever wronged you in 2024.

Warrap State Students' Union - Ethiopia - WSSUE was Officially Inaugurated with her newly elected leadership under the Chairpersonship of Mr. Dominic Deng Geng on Saturday night witnessed by the Office of Education and Cultural Attaché headed by Hon. Kun Puok Riek and other special guests.

The Inauguration Ceremony was organized in Honor of the South Sudan Head of Mission to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Republic of Djibouti, the African Union (AU) and United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA); Her Excellency Amb. Natalina Edward Mou. The theme was: "Aspiring Together".

The Inauguration Ceremony was conducted by the Interim Leadership (Steering Committee) headed by Mr. Ammet L. Mabil bringing to the climax their job and consequently giving birth to a take over by the officially elected leadership of WSSUE for the first time ever. In his remarks, Mr. Interim President, Ammet L. Mabil urge the newly elected leadership to abide by the constitution of the union for effective service delivery .

Mr. Dominic Deng, the newly elected Chairperson called for all his cabinet members to exert more efforts inorder to serve the interests of the students who have entrusted them with such elevated roles. He further vowed to unite and work with other Students' Union's representatives for the benefits of the Republic of South Sudan in the big picture.

Giving his remarks before the official launch, the Education and Cultural Attaché; Hon. Kun Puok Riek called for unity, peace and sharing among the sons and daughters (students) of Warrap State as well as others. He later on preceeded to declare the official Inauguration of the WSSUE to officially and legally exist in the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia as an umbrella for the sons and daughters of Warrap State who are pursuing their higher studies in various Universities and Higher Institutes in Ethiopia.

As of 2024, September 28, Warrap State Students' Union in Ethiopia has begun to officially be in operation with its based in Addis Ababa City.
