Harvesting Peace, Growing Opportunities: GGGI’s Climate Smart Agriculture initiative in Ethiopia 07/04/2026

🌿 We have recently completed the “Fostering Food Security to Prevent Conflict and Ensure Stability” project, and we are already seeing the impact of our work in Ethiopia’s Central Rift Valley. Climate action there is no longer only about the environment, it has become a foundation for social harmony and stability.

🎥 Our project partners, Global Green Growth Institute Ethiopia, have documented a remarkable transition in the Adami Tulu Jido Kombolcha district. Smallholder farmers are moving away from rain‑fed, chemical‑dependent agriculture and embracing a community‑based model that enables better growth, sustainability, and prosperity.

🫱🏿‍🫲🏻 The project was implemented together with Global Green Growth Institute - GGGI, the Ministry of Agriculture - Ethiopia, and financed by the Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale.
