Not all espresso pulls the same. Your roast level changes everything.
🔥 Light Roast
Grind finer.
Extract longer (28–35 sec).
Higher yield.
Bright acidity, complex notes, layered sweetness.
🔥 Medium Roast
Balanced grind.
25–30 sec extraction.
Classic 1:2 ratio.
Smooth body, balanced sweetness, clean finish.
🔥 Dark Roast
Grind slightly coarser.
Shorter pull (20–25 sec).
Lower yield.
Bold body, deep chocolate notes, low acidity.
