Kare Yihun Consulting was established from the idea and the need that we the founders faced when entering the work force.

We exist so that the next generation wouldn't have to deal with the same struggles we did.

Hermela's advise:

An advice I would give my younger self, although I am not saying I am grown and wise right now it would mainly be; do not suppress your interest no matter what they are for the fear those around you won’t understand it. Use that fear to go out of your immediate circle and find paths similar to your interest, do not be afraid to grow towards whatever catches your mind those little interests grow into shaping your kind become a person to can be proud of later in life.

I can not stress this enough Do not rush perfection. Everyone you look up to in whatever field they are has had their own struggle of a lifetime to get to the end result they are on now (ups and downs are not happening to only you).

Value and appreciate in whatever way for where you are currently in life, plan and map your future steps towards your goal. Do not stress yourself in trying to effect all the changes you want in your life to happen all at once, learn to curb yourself be a person that sees breakdown analysis in order to have a valuable bigger picture.

Meet Hermela our Legal Advisor.

I am Hermela Taye, I graduated from law school and I currently work as a legal consultant for KYC. My previous experiences as an investment consultant have allowed me to engage with different people providing me with a bit of an experience working in law related works which paved the way for my role in KYC.
I help the company in maintaining a smooth relation with clients and making sure what is legally allowed as regards the interests for the clients and KYC itself.

KYC felt like the right fit for me because of its founding ideas and also the fact that it is made by the youth to work with the youth so the level of open communication is really what drew me to want to be a part of the team, the brainstorming sessions and level of communication make it feel like a personal interest rather than a work environment that is bound to feel like a burden. The environment at KYC is the perfect fit for my easy going personality we divide our roles and work on them which leaves room for individuality and I really appreciate that.

We make sure that we provide your students with a working trainer so that they have the most current and accurate understanding of the challenges and rewards of each field. If only I knew then what I know now, I would have done a few things differently. Every Friday we will be sharing stories and advise that we feel like we missed while we were growing up. So if you have any advise or story that you would like to share with the younger you or to current high school students contact us so we can all learn and grow together.

In all honesty, she does like to create an environment where people get to be themselves, this humble CEO ☺ who refers to herself in third person, resides in Addis Ababa. Living in a house with her amazing and understanding family. She enjoys all kinds of sports especially swimming, she also loves to read.

She is an early stage investor in the education sector ….ok ok I’ll stop identifying myself in third person.
I’m a daughter, sister and an aunt to two beautiful boys. I love to spoil them and I like to smile a lot and create an easy environment for the people around me.

My life philosophy is “Make people lives easy by being in it, not hard."
