Strengthening Ethiopia's Health System: MERQ & Cordaid Study Aims to Improve Health Worker Outcomes

MERQ Consultancy is conducting a three-day training for data collectors as part of the Cordaid-commissioned study on the effects of Performance-Based Financing (PBF) on health worker outcomes in Ethiopia.

The training is designed to:
✅ Build technical capacity for high-quality data collection
✅ Assess health workers’ motivation, job satisfaction, and retention
✅ Apply Herzberg’s two-factor theory & Franco’s health workforce framework
✅ Generate evidence to inform sustainable and quality-driven PBF implementation

We are proud to partner with Cordaid on this impactful initiative, which supports strengthening Ethiopia’s health system and advancing programs that improve health worker outcomes.
