Will Australia introduce backpacker visas for people aged over 35? 13/01/2023

🥳 The Australian government is considering adjusting the age limit for Working Holiday Visas - possibly accepting applicants up to 50 years of age!

⌛️ Currently, US applicants must be between the ages of 18-30 to apply for the Working Holiday program in Australia.

➕ Recent changes allow US applicants the opportunity to apply for an extension of their Working Holidays, by up to 2 additional years - a positive add, given previous rules allowed a maximum stay of only 12 months.

🙌 I appreciate the government's willingness to consider continued revisions to the program's eligibility requirements. Check out the article and let me know what you think - it sounds like a win-win to me!

😉 My only hope is that eventually, they'll let me come back to do a second one! Those certainly were the days...🌴

Will Australia introduce backpacker visas for people aged over 35? Thousands of young people flock to Australia each year on the Working Holiday Maker program. Now, there's a push to increase the age limit to 50 to help fill worker shortages.

Hey y’all - I’m back! Long time no see…

👩🏻‍🎓It’s been over a year since I posted! I spent the last year in Spain getting my Master’s degree. While I continued running the business from abroad, I did take a break from marketing it through social media.

🤷🏻‍♀️There were moments in the past year when I felt guilty. Felt like I should be sharing more. Posting more. Communicating more. But in all honesty, I have to remind myself sometimes - I’m an ‘in-person’ person!

• I like to be present.
• I like living life offline.
• I like experiencing things.
• I like living life in real time.

Sometimes it feels as if that’s not conducive to running a (mostly) online business.

👵🏼Perhaps I’m just an old soul!

But the truth is, my travels have taught me many things, one of them being the importance of making the most of every ounce of time you have in this life. For me, that often means spending more time focusing on my offline socials, than my online socials.

🤗So while I’m tempted to apologize, I also like to think you COMPLETELY understand! Because after all, what is life, if not lived to its fullest?!

🔊 Anyway, I’m excited to be back and I have some updates to announce, so check out the ‘TTS’ link in my bio and stories for more info!

➡️ In the meantime, I’d love to know - what is the BEST thing travel has taught YOU? C’mon people let’s hear it!

International Work & Travel Survey 09/06/2022

💁🏻‍♀️ Hey friends - it's your Travel Coach, Geneva here!

Reaching out for some help! I'm finishing up my master's degree here in Spain and I'm doing some research on my favorite topic:

✈️ ** WORK & TRAVEL ABROAD ** ✈️

The aim of the research is to measure awareness and interest levels in international Work & Travel programs for US degree-seeking students and/or graduates (ages 18-30). The goal is to construct a proposal that can increase awareness and accessibility to these programs.

Target survey audience:
✅ US citizens/permanent residents (due to visas/eligibility)
✅ Current degree-seeking students (working toward Bachelor's or higher)
✅ Graduates w/ a Bachelor's or higher (preferably 30 years or under)
✅ Any majors or fields of study are welcome to participate

🌏 If that's you, I would LOVE it if you could please take a few minutes to fill out the survey for me. And if you know anyone who fits the bill, it would mean the world to me if you could please share this survey with them!!

👉 Lastly, if you happen to have any contacts at universities, colleges, or other outlets that could help, then any shares would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

As always, thanks for your support and...

Happy Travels!! ✈️
