Study in Salamanca

Last Friday we had a flamenco class with the lovely Cristina at Salamanca's Endanza dance school. Then we were treated to a private show from the experts who showed us an array of flamenco dance styles!

In our brand new excursion we travelled to Mogarraz, La Alberca and Peña de Francia to explore these gorgeous Spanish villages.

Happy May Day! This weekend AIFS Salamanca are going exploring in the countryside! We will visit La Alberca, Mogarraz AND Peña de Francia - can't wait!

This weekedn April 24-26 we travelled to Portugal to visit 3 of it's biggest and most important cities; Coimbra, Lisbon and Porto! We had guided tours in each city and visited their most famous monuments. We enjoyed delicious Portuguese food and drink and explored Lisbon's fun nightlife! Thanks everyone for a great weekend!

A day trip to Madrid to visit Picasso's Guernica and see one of the world's soccer teams in the world's most famous stadium!

Together we learnt to make gazpacho, paella and tortilla de patatas - yummy! Followed by tapas in some of Salamanca's well known Calle Van Dyck district.

Back from a really interesting day trip to Segovia and Avila today as part of our Spanish Life and Culture Class! We got to see the famous Segovia Aqueduct, explore the Alcázar and then traveled to Avila where we climbed the ancient city walls. And all before dinner time! Have a great weekend everyone

We had a great time at the Salamanca Plaza de Toros last night as part of our Spanish Life and Culture Class! We visited the bullring to meet famous matador Miguel Ángel who gave us a demonstration of the art of bullfighting. Then several of the group went to Calle Van Dyck to try out some tasty tapas, yum!
