I’m honestly so proud today! 💕

I got the news that two of my students have passed Segundo de Bachillerato and I still can’t believe how far they’ve come. Over the years I’ve seen them work through stress, nerves, tiredness, and those moments where they felt like giving up, but they never stopped trying.

Seeing all that hard work finally pay off makes me so happy, not just as a teacher but as someone who has watched them grow into amazing young adults.

People often only see the final result, but I’ve seen the effort behind it: the extra practice, the late study sessions, the frustration, and the determination to keep going even when things felt difficult.

Moments like this remind me why I love teaching so much.

Congratulations to both of you. You really deserve this, and I know this is just the start of so many good things ahead. 🎓✨

🍎Why are teachers in the Comunidad Valenciana on strike?

The decision to go on an indefinite strike is never taken lightly, but our teachers have reached a breaking point. Years of worsening conditions and a breakdown in negotiations with the Generalitat Valenciana have left them with no choice.
This strike isn’t just about the teachers, it’s about the future of the children. They are fighting for:
• Smaller class sizes for more individualized attention
• Less paperwork and bureaucracy, so they can focus on teaching
• Fair pay that reflects their dedication and training
• More teaching and support staff to reduce heavy workloads
• Safe, well-equipped, and properly maintained school buildings
Change disrupts routines, and teachers deeply appreciate the patience and support of families during this time. Better working conditions for teachers directly translate to better learning environments for students.

☔️✨ No Classes Tomorrow – Monday 9th September ✨☔️

Hi everyone! Just a quick note to let you know that the schools in San Miguel De Salinas and Orihuela Costa will remain closed tomorrow because of the bad weather warnings 💙

Things should be back to normal as of the 10th of September and if I hear anything different I will let you know ⛈️⛈️

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you’ve all had a great summer! The following photo is a time table of when each group starts on the 9th of SEPTEMBER at IES PLAYA FLAMENCA.

•1 ESO start at 9:00 am

•2 ESO Start at 10:00 am

•3 ESO Start at 11:30 am

•4 ESO Start at 12:00 pm

•1º Bachillerato and 2º bachillerato both start at 12:30 pm

•FP Básica 1º y 2º start at 11:30

•CFGM Actividades comerciales 1º y 2º Start at 12:00 pm

•CFGS gestión de Ventas start at 12:30 pm

•CFGS Dietética start at 12:30 pm

All clases finish at 13:50 on the 9th of September and all those who have requested public transport can use it from this day forwards

The first day of back to school is here, and with it comes new opportunities! Here at bright minds we are committed to empowering all our little superstars to accomplish anything they set their hearts and minds on.

Today we decided to take the day off so that we could recharge after and intense and fun filled summer and to give our students time to settle into their new classrooms, meet their teachers, and get to know their classmates.

We are so excited for tomorrow to start so that we can get back into the swing of things! There is no job in this world that is more rewarding than teaching and we are fully prepared for what this academic year will bring!
