Here’s a quick recap about our lovely peacocks workshop! We had a lovely morning learning about peacocks and peahens, doing a tail feather dance to encourage the peacocks to spread theirs, and making a beautiful peacock to take home!

Being in nature and connecting with our world is crucial to helping kiddos strengthen their curiosity, creativity, and courage. And it is my greatest honor to join them on that journey!

Hey families! Let's come together to learn about peacocks! This Sunday, we will be observing their brilliant feathers, movements, and sounds while learning how animals communicate in nature.

Together we’ll spend time quietly watching the park’s peacocks, noticing patterns, colors, and behavior. Through simple activities, movement, and creative expression, children will discover how animals use their bodies, colors, and sounds to interact with the world around them.

Hi families! In Nature with Nina is celebrating our one year anniversary!!! Thanks so much for supporting and joining our nature adventures throughout this year. To celebrate we will be having a community celebration!

Families will be invited to create simple nature crowns using leaves and natural materials, add a wish for nature to a shared community wish tree, and participate in a playful guided activity designed to spark movement, curiosity, and connection with the natural world.

The Nature Club 🌿

A weekly outdoor experience for children aged 5–8.

In a small, consistent group, children spend 1.5 hours exploring, playing, and connecting with nature in Parque del Retiro.

This is not a traditional afterschool activity, but a space for:
– Slowing down after the school day

Hi families! Thrilled to be announcing the start of our Spring workshops.

In our Build a Tree workshop we put on our engineering hats. First, we studied roots, trunks and branches, noticing if lines were straight or curved. Then we chose a tree we wanted to build and sketched it. After that it was straight into building! We shared ideas with one another and used a variety of strategies to make our trees stand on their own!

As an educator, I feel I am privileged to witness the patience, determination and creativity of each child. This workshop was no exception. Our little engineers could have continued building for hours had we not stopped them! I am inspired by their joy and curiosity about the world around them.
