📘 ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre "Let", "Make", "Have", "Allow" y "Get"?
Estructura:
let + persona + verbo base
Ejemplos:
✅ My parents let me stay out late.
(Mis padres me dejaron quedarme fuera hasta tarde.)
✅ The teacher let us leave early.
(El profesor nos dejó salir temprano.)
📌 2. Make = Obligar
Usa make cuando alguien obliga o provoca que otra persona haga algo.
Estructura:
make + persona + verbo base
Ejemplos:
✅ She made me apologize.
(Ella me obligó a disculparme.)
✅ The movie made him cry.
(La película lo hizo llorar.)
📌 3. Have = Encargar o hacer que alguien haga algo
Usa have cuando pides o haces que otra persona realice una acción.
Estructura:
have + persona + verbo base
Ejemplos:
✅ I had the waiter bring the check.
(Hice que el camarero trajera la cuenta.)
✅ She had her assistant book the flight.
(Hizo que su asistente reservara el vuelo.)
📌 4. Allow = Permitir (más formal)
Allow también significa permitir, pero siempre lleva "to".
Estructura:
allow + persona + to + verbo
Ejemplos:
✅ They allowed me to enter.
(Me permitieron entrar.)
✅ The school doesn't allow students to leave early.
(La escuela no permite que los estudiantes se vayan temprano.)
📌 5. Get = Convencer o lograr que alguien haga algo
Usa get cuando consigues que alguien haga algo, normalmente persuadiéndolo.
Estructura:
get + persona + to + verbo
Ejemplos:
✅ I got him to help me.
(Logré que me ayudara.)
✅ She got the kids to clean their room.
(Logró que los niños limpiaran su habitación.)
