People need physical, mental, emotional and spiritual strength in order to master life. I can only pay attention to what I know. Therefore, it’s important not only to learn how to ride but everything that the company of horses brings with it: The nature of horses, communication wit

h animals and humans, herbal medicine, shoeing, saddling, teamwork, creativity, meditation, energy work and the art of sharing your own knowledge with others. Children should love life, affirm in every way and believe in themselves. Therein lies the key to change in our society. If children learn early that intellect and education of the heart belong together and lead to true strength, they will make decisions that serve their own well-being and society. Unhappiness, stress, isolation and disease can be resolved. As adults, they will have an easier time finding their way to make a healthy and creative contribution to their working and living community and be happy with themselves. The Academy programme lasts 1 year. Children between the ages of 5 and 18 are welcome. All activities take place after school in the afternoon and on weekends. They are also designed to take place in the holidays of all private/state schools in Ibiza. In the holidays we offer special courses which we will announce regularly. Space is limited. For the first year 2015 there will be space for:
Youth Group:
5 children with their own horse, and 2 children without their own horse. The 2 children without a horse will be able to use one from the Alegria-herd. Children’s group:
20 Children without their own horse. LEARNING CONTENT children group 5 - 12 years
THE JOURNEY TO GAINING TRUST
• Understanding the body language of horses
• Playing with horses
• Groundwork with and without rope
• Balancing while lounging, with and without saddle
• Riding with a knot halter
• Chilling out together without wanting anything

LEARNING CONTENT youth group 12-18 years
The journey towards riding naturally
• Groundwork using a rope
• Liberty
• Riding with saddle or ba****ck
• Riding without a bit, with knot halter and neck ring
• Riding with bridle and gentle contact
• Just chilling out together without wanting anything

COACHING with international trainers in Natural Horsemanship and Classic Dressage

10 YEARS OF ALEGRIA are over.

We like to thank all our students and parents for an amazing time.

For your trust, your support, your inspiration and love.

In 2010, due to an emergency in the riding stable of my youngest son, Karen took over the lessons from a bunch of children and school horses. That was the initial spark of a great project and the beginning of the discovery of her talents as a teacher, speaker, show girl and activist.

In 2015 Noreen joined her and together they turned the project Alegria into the Academy Alegria.

Thousands of people saw our shows in IBIZA and were inspired to see horses with respect and love.

In 10 years we have changed the consciousness of an island and far beyond.

Today there are so many warriors of light in Ibiza that Noreen and I can move on.

Our mission has ended here at this point.

It is good. It is accomplished.

We are ready to move into the world

and create a new movement.

A wave of awareness, sparkling joy, a dance with the elements, with horses and people, in love and bright light.

The magical journey continues.

It's nearly time for school holidays and we have a very special and completely unique 4 day Pony Camp now booking, so your kids can have some quality time too!

In association with My Magical Journey and , the award winning film and online program, our Autumn Pony Camp for +7yrs is designed to bring out your child's creativity & imagination, empathy, team-spirit, sense of self esteem, responsability and connection with nature & the wisdom of horses as, well as their "tribe". Packed with fun activities... plus of course our signature one-to-one natural equitation and horsemanship coaching with our happy horses. The Alegria "EARN & LEARN" Initiative.

Alegria - natural horse & life academy, San Lorenzo, offers nature-orientated, holistic life-experiences in a truly re-connective and inspiring location. Our peaceful oasis, is an out-of-time heart space, where you are welcome to be a part of a sincere philosophy and empowering programs.

These programs, available as drop-in groups, private sessions and immersive 3 day workshops, are ideal as free-time or incorporated activities for yoga/detox/spiritual development retreats and other similar groups.
If you are a regular retreat/group organizer, you can avail of our 15% initiative, every time you organize a new private group to attend either EQuiReflect or EQuiConnect.

Individuals- you also have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary session, or elect someone you feel would benefit- each time 10 new clients for either of these programs attend on your recommendation.
