Medialab University of Granada Award for Communication and Innovation in Digital Media 2022

gives today May 25 the Medialab Award for Innovation and Communication in Digital Media, convened at the end of last year 2022, and whose objective is to recognize the innovation and impact of communication actions in digital media carried out by the university community.

The members of the jury, considering the quality and relevance of the nominations submitted in accordance with the criteria established in the rules of the call, have decided to grant this award in individual modality to Juan Luis Guerrero Rascado.

This award has been achieved thanks to the and projects, which show a very relevant digital identity in social media where the development of the projects is shown in an informative way. However, the main participation of the winner on the Internet is focused mainly through his personal web page.

The European project ATMO-ACCESS holds its annual General Assembly, on March 29th 2023, as part of a series of meetings between 29 and 31 March 2023. The ADEIT Fundation in Valencia hosts the 3-day event.

We are discussing the completion of the First Reporting Period and presenting the general timeline for the Second Reporting Period, its task, objectives and TNA calls planned.

Researchers of and projects, as part of the AGORA facility in Granada, contribute to ATMO-ACCESS.

AGORA Aerosol Training Course: Characterization of atmospheric aerosol using in-situ and remote sensing techniques – ATMO-ACCESS

Dates: June 12-17, 2023

Venue: Andalusian Global ObseRvatory of the Atmosphere (AGORA), Granada, Spain

ATMO-ACCESS project supports innovative training and education activities related to atmospheric research infrastructures. It is crucial for the future success of European atmospheric facilities to ensure that new generations of researchers acquire knowledge and skills to take advantage of all the essential tools for their research. This training at AGORA Aerosol Training School is the first of three innovative sessions to add the training dimension to Research Infrastructures using physical, remote, and virtual access.

The training course is intended mainly for researchers and technicians from the atmospheric field. Trainees must have previous knowledge on aerosol sciences, at least in one of the aerosol measurement techniques. They could be advanced master students, doctoral students, early-career scientists, or technicians. Good communication skills in English are required.

Please, note that the number of participants is limited – only 20 transnational plus 5 Spanish applications will be accepted!

The application deadline is April 11th, 2023. The list of accepted applicants will be published on the ATMO-ACCESS website latest by May 5th, 2023.
