🌴 Inspired by the nomadic concept of an oasis — a place of pause, replenishment and recalibration along the journey — this retreat is designed as a temporary ecology for slowing down enough to hear what is quietly trying to emerge beneath the noise.
Not as an escape from life, but as a space to return more deeply into relationship with it.
This is not simply a gathering or a co-living experience.
Think of it more as an immersive, in-person transformational journey: blending retreat, coaching, facilitated process and regenerative community.
What you would be stepping into is a carefully held container shaped by years of experience in trauma-informed facilitation, regenerative leadership, nervous system work, group process and transformational coaching.
The intention is not to “fix” ourselves or force clarity through effort.
Quite the opposite. 🙃
A core thread running through this experience is the exploration of effortlessness — learning to soften the constant pressure to push, perform and hold everything together, and instead reconnect with a more organic rhythm of emergence.
To create enough spaciousness for insight, grief, joy, rest, creativity, longing and possibility to coexist.

Many people working in humanitarian aid, social change, climate action and peacebuilding know the feeling:
You care deeply.
You keep going.
And at some point, you realise that the pace that got you here may not be the pace that can carry you forward.
What happens when you're standing between an old chapter and a new one?
When something is ending, but what's next isn't yet clear?
That's why we have created The Threshold — a small regenerative retreat in Catalunya in July for changemakers navigating transition, burnout, uncertainty, or simply a desire to reconnect with themselves.
Before the retreat, we're hosting a free online information session on Monday, June 29th and Wednesday July 1st to explore the theme, share more about the experience and answer questions.
If you've been feeling like you're pushing through the desert and wondering where your next oasis might be, this may be worth exploring.

What does the "new chapter" look like?
A whole lot like the transition 😅
Wobbly. Messy. Uncharted territory on steroids.
The last few months have been intense. After YEARS of slow churning, planting seeds, and tilling the soil, everything seems to be accelerating and happening at once.
And guess what showed up?
My familiar pattern of pushing through.
Because if I'm honest, I love living fast and furious. I love creating, building, dreaming, making things happen.
Until this week, when I hit a wall.
I realised I hadn't truly rested and recharged. Even during my time off.
And some of my usual tools weren't working the way they used to.
This weekend, I gave myself permission to slow down in community at a one-day Continuum workshop. For a few hours, I felt held enough to let go of the hypervigilance.
I promptly fell asleep several times during the practice. 🤣
Not exactly the profound breakthrough I expected.
But maybe exactly what my body needed.
The irony of offering a retreat designed around this very topic was not lost on me.
If anything, it reinforced why spaces like these matter.
Because in times of big transition, uncertainty, and shifting ground, sometimes the answer isn't another tool.
Sometimes it's feeling safe enough to put the weight down.
To reconnect with our bodies.
To be witnessed.
To remember we don't have to carry everything alone.
Lately I've been wondering:
What happens when the old ways of coping stop working?
Not because they're wrong.
But because we're being invited into something new.
And if your old tools aren't working quite the same either, and you're tired of navigating it all alone, we'd love to welcome you to The Threshold this July. 🌸💞
A 5-day regenerative retreat for those moving through personal, professional, or life transitions.
An oasis to pause, reconnect, and listen for what wants to emerge next.
Have you experienced a moment when the things that used to work no longer did?

One of the most resonant moments from our launch gathering was this reminder that not every season asks us to be more productive, more strategic, or more efficient.🫠
Some seasons ask us to stay close to what anchors us.
To notice what is ending.
To be held while something new slowly takes shape.
This is the heart of The Threshold Retreat, July 12-17 in Catalonia.

On Monday, we gathered with Sonia Dg for a beautiful online exploration around transitions, thresholds, and the often-uncomfortable space between what is ending and what has not yet fully emerged.
What stayed with me most was how many of us are navigating some kind of in-between: personal, professional, relational, ecological. That space can feel disorienting, but it can also be deeply fertile when we don’t have to cross it alone.
This is the heart of The Threshold Retreat: a five-day retreat in Catalonia at to be held so you can slow down, reconnect, release what no longer needs to be carried, and listen for what wants to emerge next.
Details are finally out! and we are so excited to invite you into this oasis 😍 💃
If you feel you are standing at a threshold in your life or work, you can find the details here:

And if you’re wondering whether it’s a good fit for you, send me a message. I’d be very happy to chat it through with you.

Ten years ago, I thought I was making a career change.
Today, I realize I was stepping into a threshold.
In 2015, burnout forced me to stop.
At the time, I thought recovery was the work.
But looking back, burnout was only the beginning.
A few years later, I left the humanitarian sector and took what felt like an impossible leap of faith: founding Regenerative Changemaking.
I thought I was changing jobs.
I was actually beginning a much deeper shedding.
Of identity.
Of certainty.
Of inherited definitions of success.
Of who I believed I had to be in order to contribute.
The path that followed was anything but linear.
There were moments of excitement and possibility.
And there were many moments of feeling lost.
Times when I questioned everything.
Times when I felt overwhelmed, alone, stuck, moving sideways rather than forward.
Times when old fears resurfaced and demanded to be met.
Times when I wondered whether I had made a terrible mistake.
Along the way, there were also oases.
Places, people, and communities that offered restoration, perspective, courage, and companionship.
Moments to pause.
To reorient.
To remember why I had started walking this path in the first place.
What I couldn't see then is that the last five years were not an interruption between chapters.
They were the threshold itself.
And something has shifted recently.
Not because all the uncertainty is gone.
The road ahead is still largely uncharted.
But over the last few weeks, I've felt a deeper sense of trust, clarity, and embodied possibility than I have in a long time.
The anxiety that once gripped every decision no longer holds the same power.
The questions remain.
But they are accompanied by more resources.
More support.
More kindred spirits.
More joy.
The Threshold retreat was born from this experience.
From the recognition that transitions are rarely tidy.
And that sometimes what we need most is not a map, but an oasis.
A place to pause, listen, and discover how we want to meet what comes next.
If you're navigating a threshold of your own, Sonia Dg and I are hosting a free experiential gathering next week to explore this together.
