📚 Mini Spanish Tip: “ser listo” vs “estar listo”
In Spanish, changing the verb changes the meaning of the adjective! Here’s an example:
Ser listo means to be smart or intelligent.
Estar listo means to be ready
✔️ “MarĂa es lista” → MarĂa is smart
✔️ “MarĂa está lista” → MarĂa is ready
Same adjective (listo), but two different meanings depending on the verb!
Have you ever mixed them up? Let me know in the comments!
