Every weekend, our English and Spanish students talk about art in the form of a English-Spanish exchange. One of our favourite exhibitions this year has most definitely been "Black Light. Secret Traditions in Art Since the 1950s" with some 350 paintings, drawings, audiovisuals, sculptures, photographs, installations, books, music and documents by artists such as Antoni Tàpies, Joseph Beuys, Rudolf Steiner and Alejandro Jodorowsky. ✨ La Luz Negra. A wonderful, bubbly afternoon at Blend and Bottled, where wine connoisseur Claartje van den Bogaard taught us how to see, swirl, sip and swallow 3 pours of Spanish wine. 🍾🥂 Thank you so much, Claartje, for hosting this educational and entertaining event - and introducing us to the very complex but inspiring world of wine. A Night of Spanglish at In-Edit Festival.

The Art of Language loves In-Edit Festival! Last Saturday, we saw the inspirational and experimental "Floating Points: Reflections - Mojave Desert", the energetic and electronic KID SIMIUS: Berlin or the colour of Granada” and the traditional and acoustic ¨The Time of the Luthiers¨. This evening, we are seeing Unfinished Plan. The Path of Alain Johannes, a Chilean-American multi-instrumentalist who has played with bands such as Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Chris Cornell, Mark Lanegan and the Arctic Monkeys. Afterwards, we will go for a drink at our favourite bar BEAM! We see you tonight at Cinema Aribau!
