Finally, summer is here! ☀️

It is a wonderful time to enjoy open terraces and refreshing drinks while soaking beautiful play of shadows. It can be a great source of inspiration for various creative pursuits, including capturing those moments through drawing. 🎨

For instance, Campari has created some amazing illustrations over the years, showcasing their brand in a unique way. 🥂

Being commissioned by a brand like this would be a fantastic opportunity for any artist or designer.

Every illustrator has their own story.
Here is the story of Christina , curator of the Illustration workshop Creating a Poster. 🔹

Cristina spend her childhood near the top of Barcelona’s Tibidabo mountain, where a large church looms over a colourful theme park full of twinkly lights, charming roller coasters, creepy vintage animatronics, and sweet-smelling air.

Today, the artist’s playful but dark illustrations are clearly inspired by the kitsch, the bright colours, and her memories of this extraordinary place.

Cristina is busy collaborating with musicians on album covers, working with brands, and illustrating for books, posters, night clubs, and newspapers and other publications. Her clients and collaborators come to her for her very specific surreal style, but she’s always pushing herself to try new things.

We are exiting to announce 2 days workshop with Cristina Daura again!

In June we already host this outstanding workshop during which each participant created a poster and studied how to put lots of variable ideas into the logical visual narrative.

At this workshop, our teacher and well know illustrator Christina Daura will help you transform your emotions into visual language. Cristina will share her creative journey and tell us how she found her style and gain international credibility working with newspapers, record labels, musicians, brands, publishing houses, and other independent projects using narrative and color as a way of expressing her feelings. 💫

We are so delighted to announce a new workshop in Mexico City that takes place on the 29 of October!

We are going to spend one day exploring the amazing topic of Mexican masks curated by talented illustrator César Canseco .ltd.

During one day we will explore the aesthetic of Mexican visual art and go deep into the specific theme of masks. 🌞

Through experimentation and exploration, we'll try different techniques such as
emotional drawing, collage, character design, etc.
At the end of the workshop, we'll express our vision of the topic and come up with an idea of our own mask (digitally or manually). 💥

Pasaremos un día explorando el increíble tema de las máscaras mexicanas dirigido por el talentoso ilustrador César Canseco .ltd.

Durante un día exploramos la estética de las artes visuales mexicanas y profundizamos en el tema específico de las máscaras. 🌞

A través de la experimentación y la exploración, probaremos diferentes técnicas como
dibujo emocional, collage, diseño de personajes, etc.

Nathalia is a Barcelona-based illustrator; her works are characterized by a particular expression and a rave of colour, and her favourite genre is landscape.

On our 29 October workshop, we will be learning to draw dynamic and vivid sketches and have no fear towards using bright colours and expressing our emotion.💥

Hello, creatives! Today we'd like to share with you the design of a traditional festival Mercè celebrated in Barcelona . 🔵

Every year at the same time a new illustration appears on the city's streets to tell us the story using the power of visual images.

This year’s poster refers to roots and reiterates the city’s commitment to justice and peace. The illustration shows us unique places in Barcelona, the colors of the Ukrainian flag emerging from a trumpet, a castle reaching into the sky, and numerous other details to discover, while the three leading female figures dip their feet in the sea. 🕊

The poster rounds off by regaining typographies from historical Mercè posters.

The author of the work is David de las Heras . Talented in illustration and painting alike, he has worked with various prestigious publications and national and international media.
