PAU-D Ed.22 - Diseñar en movimiento: Tres miradas, una disciplina viva

En nuestra última edición tuvimos el enorme placer de contar con tres motion designers: .studio, y .mau que nos condujeron por cómo cada uno ha forjado su camino y desarrollado su estilo a lo largo de los años de carrera.

De Jose aprendimos que el movimiento es una poderosa herramienta narrativa, capaz de traducir ideas complejas en historias claras, sensibles y profundamente humanas.

Adrián nos enseñó que la simplicidad visual y la creatividad pueden comunicar fuerza, emoción y universalidad, y que rodearse de personas talentosas es clave para hacer crecer cualquier proyecto.

Y con Mauricio vimos cómo el motion design trasciende la pantalla para convertirse en experiencia, espacio y atmósfera, activando los sentidos y generando nuevas formas de conexión con el público.

Our city is full of social and environmental responsible projects that deserve to be shared. People for whom sustainability is a core value, carried through every stage of their production chain.

Here are some of our favorites:

After Barcelona’s main festivals, the city is left with countless banners and posters that usually end up as waste. This brand transforms them into backpacks and wallets, giving them a much longer life.

A design laboratory creating lamps using bioplastics derived from organic sources such as corn starch.

The blend of nature and science that supports the idea of ageing while caring for both your skin and the planet.

They were the country’s first Zero-Waste, 100% organic supermarket, offering carefully selected products with the lowest possible impact on the planet.

Known for their backpacks and lightweight travel shoes, sustainability is one of the core pillars of this brand created for responsible travellers.

uses sustainable plywood to produce small batches of furniture or made-to-order pieces.

is the designer behind the first recycled and washable rugs, made entirely from leftover cotton from her own production processes.

. Guided by a ‘less is more’ philosophy, they reduce and reuse waste from their collections, while also using natural fibres like h**p to create their designs.

-D Ed. 21 - Choose your own adventure by Adrià Molins

This time we are lucky to have ; Art Director, Graphic Designer specialized in typography and lettering, and co-founder of .barcelona.

With more than ten years of experience, he has collaborated with various agencies and studios while developing his own freelance practice. In recent years, he has also combined his professional work with teaching, giving classes at some of the city’s leading design schools.

He is passionate about pushing creative boundaries through experimentation: blending patterns, textures, illustration, and typography to craft bold visuals and emotionally engaging work.

In this talk, Adrià will share his perspective on the process of building or finding oneself through creative work: decisions, explorations, doubts, and the small choices that ultimately shape one’s path.

En esta ocasión tenemos el placer de contar con ; Director de Arte, Diseñador Gráfico especializado en tipografía y lettering, y co-fundador de .barcelona.

Con más de diez años de experiencia, ha colaborado con diversas agencias y estudios, a la vez que desarrolla su propia carrera freelance. En los últimos años, también ha compaginado su trabajo profesional con la docencia, impartiendo clases en algunas de las escuelas de diseño más prestigiosas de la ciudad.

Le apasiona explorar los límites de la creatividad mediante la experimentación: fusionando patrones, texturas, ilustración y tipografía para crear imágenes impactantes y obras que conectan emocionalmente.

En esta charla, Adrià compartirá su perspectiva sobre el proceso de construcción o autodescubrimiento a través del trabajo creativo: decisiones, exploraciones, dudas y las pequeñas elecciones que dan forma al camino de cada uno.

Have you ever experienced a creative block in the middle of a project (of any kind)? It’s like if you’ve already tried all the possible ideas, you don’t see how to continue or you simply don’t like the result.

We spoke with , video creator and PAU member, about how she overcomes creative blocks and we have to say that we loved their tips: just breathe, leave the cave and ask for help. Three simple things that we sometimes seem to forget to do.

PAU-D Ed.20 — Where reality meets the future

Last week, .ai (👋 + ) joined us at PAU and made us rethink what a creator really is.

We was introduced to Aitana López — Spain’s first 100% AI-generated influencer, born in Barcelona and crafted by The Clueless to blur the line between human and digital. Then came , and the rest of their digital creators — virtual identities that live in a place where imagination, technology and community collide.

From creative agency to full-on tech company, they also unveiled VELLUM — a B2C tool that refines skin in AI-generated images so they feel even more human.
The talk offered a glimpse of what’s ahead — a future already unfolding — and sparked an avalanche of questions and curiosity among the crowd.
How will trust evolve when what we see might not be human, yet still feels real?

The darkest night of the year is approaching… bringing with it spells, creepy laughters and a hint of mystery.

It’s said that when the moon shines silver and the winds whisper secrets, spirits and sorcerers gather to discover what the future holds. This Halloween .izarte will guide your destiny through tarot, while J&J make the night come alive with their DJ set.

Dress code?
