COSTA RICA- Day 2

Our hosts:
In Tortuguero, you can find howler monkeys, spider monkeys, and white-faced capuchin monkeys (or capuchin monkeys). HOWLER Monkeys- note the word, HOWL. It seems when it rains the monkeys think it is time to party and they like to howl. In fact, they partied so hard they caused a major tree limb to fall on our hut and damage the tin roof, break the wooden transoms, and leave us with some dirt and moss on our last night. A goodbye gift. :)

YES- these are REAL PHOTOS with REAL EXPRESSIONS. They were not happy.

NOTE: Monkeys like objects and will try to take your cell phone!
