Did You Know That Gregg Brelsford The Instructor Of The Contract Drafting Workshop Is:

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Law. He is also an American attorney, law professor, public administrator, and rule-of-law-development specialist. Moreover, he is a politician who recently ran (unsuccessfully) as an independent candidate in Alaska for the U.S. House of Representatives. Mr. Brelsford is qualified as a British solicitor (not practicing) and licensed to practice law in the United States in New York, Washington, D.C., California, Alaska, and Utah.

Mr. Brelsford has served as a Visiting or Adjunct Professor of Law in the United States, Eastern Europe, the Gulf States, the Middle East and North Africa, and West Africa. He has 20+ years’ experience in trial, intellectual property, and commercial law practices in international corporations and law firms. Additionally, he has 16+ years executive leadership in remote, rural tribal and municipal government settings.

In terms of African experience, in June 2022, Mr. Brelsford taught Legislative Drafting in Ghana to senior lawyers, and other senior officers, in the Ghana Attorney-General’s Office and the Ghana Maritime Authority. In Cairo, Egypt, 2011-2016, he managed the American Bar Association’s multimillion dollar program on “Innovation in Teaching and Training in the Egyptian Legal System.” He started working with The Law during this time.

Mr. Brelsford currently has more than 50 publications and professional presentations in the fields of rule-of-law-development, interactive law teaching methods, anthropology, business, and rural and tribal government management and health care delivery.

Mr. Brelsford holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, a Master’s degree in Public Administration, from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, and pursued doctoral studies in Public Administration at the University of Southern California. He earned a Juris Doctor degree in law from Harvard Law School, where he published in, and served as an Editor of, the Harvard International Law Journal.
