‘Everything is by Allah’ Post 1
Introducing ‘Everything is by Allah’ children’s project.
Over the next couple of months, an al-Kisai Institute student will be posting how she teaches her children how ‘Everything is by Allah’ through a series of flashcards based upon a central illustrated poster.
Reflection which the project is based upon:
It’s so amazing to contemplate on the extent to which Allah takes care of you, the extent to which your life, everything you see around you, the entire universe is because of Allah.
From His actions alone, only by Him (tawhid ar-rububiyyah) the whole planet and universe exists, functions, lives, grows and thrives.
There is no place you can look, except it is by Allah.
He created everything directly on indirectly - the sofa you sit on, created by Him indirectly via the talents and skills given to people and resources He provided. He guides everything. Provides for everything. Nurtures, cares for, facilitates and disposes their affairs.
Surround sound, 360 degrees…every corner and every crevasse you could think of, all by Allah!
The whole earth liveable - because Allah spread it out for us. Provided us with the sun and its heat. Made the climate, environment, air composition suitable. Gave us a perfect form. Gave us a variety of food - from underground, from the bushes, from the leaves, from the animals.
He sent down rain, facilities the water cycle. Allows day to turn into night and then day again.
Everything, everything you can possibly comprehend and everything you possibly cannot comprehend is by Allah. He is the Rabb of all things. He is the King of all things. The Owner of all things.
Allah not only provides, but He guides us to where to find that provision. He never leaves us for a moment, not even the blink of the eye.
Imagine teaching this depth to our children...
